Salary: £14.4 per hour
Our client is a long established structural and mechanical engineering business supporting Steel and Rail sectors. Due to an increase in workload a vacancy has arisen for a semi skilled/labourer to join the team.
* You need to be a good, reliable, semi-skilled or labourer who has worked with skilled men in the past.
* You will be working with power tools, electric saws, drills, grinders, impact drivers etc. so must have previous experience of working with these tools.
* Some basic engineering knowledge will help, and working in heavy industry will be an advantage
* All work is outdoors, all weathers.
* PPE will be provided (overalls, high-vis, helmet, eye protection and gloves).
* You will need to have a full clean driving licence and be over 25 for vehicle insurance purposes. You will also need a current site safety passport.
Hours of work are 07:00 – 14:30 Monday to Friday with some overtime. Everyone in the team will be expected to take turns if overtime required.
