Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex RH15
Salary: £26,400 – £30,000per annum, dependent on experience
Job Type: Full Time, permanent – 42.5 hours/week

The Role

We have a vacancy for an exciting position at our Park Cameras Burgess Hill store for a Content & Search Executive. The role involves a mixture of SEO/search marketing and content creation. Reporting to the head of e-commerce, you will be responsible for ensuring our online presence is maximised in terms of search engine optimisation, as well as creating regular in-depth articles for our blog.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated team player who is experienced in a broad range of search marketing techniques, is an accomplished copywriter, and is able to work under pressure to short deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring our website and online profile are fully optimised for search engines
• Increasing levels of organic and referral traffic
• Monitoring and reporting on any areas of growth and decline
• Optimising our website’s landing pages/product pages
• Uploading content to our CMS
• Creating regular blog posts – social content posting and on site
• Proofreading copy
• Assisting with devising marketing strategies
• Keeping up to date with the latest search marketing, photographic, and industry developments

Essential Skills:
• At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
• Broad experience of a wide range of SEO techniques
• Good knowledge of commonly used search marketing tools
• Excellent writing ability
• Organised, methodical, and meticulous approach
• Positive team player who can also work autonomously

Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of photography and photographic products
• Experience with multiple online ecommerce platforms

Your working hours will be 42.5 hours per week.

In return for this you will receive a salary of £26,400 – £30,000 per annum depending on experience, plus performance-related commission/bonus
