Graduate Commercial Finance Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join the Commercial Finance function in the Financial Planning & Analysis team for the Northern Region (UK & Scandinavia).

As a Graduate Commercial Finance Analyst you will partner with the Commercial Department (corporate & strategic sales, business development and marketing) to drive sales & profit performance through understanding of the market, our business and our competitors.

What will it involve?

Core activities will include:
• Regular and ad-hoc reporting & analysis.
• Forecasting and planning revenue and direct selling costs, including ownership of forecast models.
• Supporting the team with the production of the monthly performance pack for the Northern Region business to the EMEA board, using profitability flow tracks, and providing commentary and analysis for the Northern Region Head Office.
• Supporting commercial initiatives and helping the Sales and Marketing teams understand the profitability of our account base.

Who are we looking for?

In this role we are looking for someone who:
• Is degree qualified – minimum 2:1
• Has a desire to study towards a financial qualification – CIMA
• Has demonstrable interest in a career within commercial finance
• Has outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Has experience of problem solving, planning & prioritisation
• Has excellent MS Office skills – particularly Excel
