Class 2 Driver

Salary: £19.58 per hour

Class 2 Driver Nights – Monday to Friday ONGOING £16.32

Are you a Class 2 Driver living in Daventry or somewhere nearby?

We are currently recruiting for Class 2 Driver (s) on nights for our client in Daventry. They are a leading company within the distribution network and have a large fleet of 30+ lorries.

With Pure Staff you can earn:

• £16.32ph for Night shifts
• Up to 28 days annual leave
• Guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours per shift

NIGHT Drivers – the job will entail up to 12-hour shifts, work can consist of anywhere between 1 to 15 drops per shift delivering automotive products to car dealerships. You will be given training as you will be required to use keys and de-activate alarms at the dealership. You will be delivering to the same dealerships every shift.

Usual start time will be between 19:00 to 20:00

Our client is looking for a candidate that can not only drive a HGV C Class 2 vehicle successfully but that can communicate well with the transport team to ensure that all deliveries / collections are completed this includes a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.

The perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients end user has the best experience possible.

As a Pure Staff flexible employee for this role, you will require –

• HGV Class 2 Driver licence
• CPC Card
• Digital tachograph card
• Clean Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT MS DR DD) codes
• Experience not necessary but can be advantageous

Refer a Class 1 driver or Class 2 Driver and after they have worked for us 200 hours receive £100 for you and £50 for them!
