Salary: £26,000 per year
The Role:
Working for a national Tool and Plant hire provider, you will be an experienced Delivery Driver in the Cambridge area. Joining a small team, driving duties will include delivering and collecting construction plant & tools. Whilst you’d be driving an open back Transit type van you will also sometimes be required to deliver small plant towing a trailer, thus a 7.5 tonne clean driving licence is preferred. Previous experience would be an advantage.
In the Role of Delivery Driver You will need the following skills / abilities:
* Mechanical aptitude
* Organised, able to prioritise workload
* Current clean driving licence, ideally with 7.5 tonne entitlement
* Towing experience preferred
* Literate, able to complete paperwork as required
* Customer friendly approach
Your duties within the Role of Delivery Driver will be:
* Delivering and collecting construction Plant, Power Tools and Access products
* Be responsible for your Vehicle, completing driver checks as required
* Complete delivery and collection paperwork
* Keep the yard and storage areas organised and tidy
* Help out in the Depot as required
