Part Time Screening Nurse

My client, a world leading manufacturing organisation are looking to recruit a Part Time Occupational Health Screening nurse to join their team, this role will be based at their site near Stirling.

The role will initially be for 6 months and is part time – 16 hours per week (2 full days)

My client is looking to pay in the region of £30,000 – £36,000 depending on skills and experience.

In this role you will maximise and promote the health and wellbeing of all employees and Managers.

Experience within an Occupational Health Department, ideally gained within a manufacturing or Engineering environment would be an advantage although not essential.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Carry out health assessments – pre-employment, worker assessments and driver assessments.
Work closely with the Occupational Health Advisor to identify opportunities for health promotions.
Ensure all departmental equipment is maintained and safe for use.
Maintain and update all occupational health records.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills / experience:

Registered nurse
Previous Occupational Health, Screening or practice nurse experience would be an advantage
Keen to learn and develop their skills within this area
Excellent communication skills
IT Literate
