Quality Inspector

Salary: £31,200 – £33,600 per year

We have an exciting opportunity to work with the Inspection team of an expanding company. Responsibilities will consist of overseeing and conduction inspection of incoming and outgoing product, together with assisting the Quality team in preparing the relevant documentation.

• Processing goods inwards documentation on the ERP system

• Dimensional inspection of incoming product according to the relevant inspection instructions/standards/specifications

• Maintaining records of inspection

• Collating data to support product and producing inspection documentation as required

• Assisting the QA team in resolving product quality issues

• Ensuring the Quarantine list is kept up to date

• Segregating the non-conforming product

• Ensuring the inspection equipment used is kept up to date and calibrated

• Maintaining the gauge register up to date

• Issuing inspection report updates

• Providing support on the foot assembly line

• Maintaining the press drills and records up to date for the foot assembly line

• Complying with the company’s procedures/policies

• Participating/supporting yearly stock takes

• Keeping internal/external customer informed of any product related issues

Additional information

• Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel in particular)

• Good attention to detail

• Technical fastener/measuring equipment/manufacturing knowledge

• Good communication skills
