Applications are invited for the post of Maintenance Technician for Mertrux Limited. This is a full-time position based at our Mansfield branch.
Reporting to the After Sales Manager, your main duties will include the routine service, inspection and repair of Mercedes Benz Commercial Vehicles. The person we are looking for must have a proven technical knowledge and understanding and ability to repair faults on modern vehicles.
We are looking for a qualified technician who has had previous experience of working in a Commercial Vehicle workshop for both van and truck. You need to be enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated and be able to work a rotating weekly shift system.

Hours
Week one – 06:00 – 15:30 Monday to Friday night (1/2 an hour break)
Week two – 14:00 – 00:00 Monday to Thursday (1/2 an hour break)
14:30 – 22:00 Friday (1/2 an hour break)
Saturdays on a rota as required.
Skills;
Must be to a City and Guilds, IMI, NVQ3 BTEC or equivalent in Vehicle repair.
Having a C + E (class 1) driving licence is beneficial but not essential
IRTEC beneficial but not essential
We can offer you an hourly rate of £18.35 /hr* 45-hour contract, plus 15% shift allowance, plus pension and life assurance with the opportunity to work in a Mercedes Benz workshop with Mercedes Benz training.
