Position: Depot Colleague (Interim Super User) 
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: Rotational, 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm, any 5 from 7 
Salary: £26,000per year 

ROLE: 
Do you want to be part of something new and exciting? They are opening their first Depot in Islip, Northamptonshire and are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join them on their journey. 

As a Warehouse Operative at Primark you will support the depot operation by ensuring the efficient, safe and accurate handling of stock. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
a) Act as a Super user for the site operations system until DC ‘Go Live` in June 2016. 
b) Provide support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Site Readiness Testing. 
c) Safely and securely load / unload customer`s goods / freight in line with depot targets. 
d) Pick and pack goods from stock to the levels of accuracy required for their store customers. 
e) Receive / dispatch goods as required. 
f) Locate and count stock within the warehouse to the levels of accuracy required. 
g) Kimball, re-bag etc. as required to ensure stock is kept in good condition. 
h) Ensure high levels of housekeeping standards are maintained, complete relevant paperwork as required. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 
a) Warehouse operative experience, ideally within a fast moving retail warehouse. 
b) Experience of pick / pack in line with KPI`s is essential. 
c) Systems literate with understanding of MS Office applications. 
d) Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet targets and deadlines. 
e) Good standard of the English language both verbal and written. 

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 
a) Experience of warehouse change / implementation projects 
b) Previous experience with voice picking systems and apparel distribution. 
c) Experience of working with LLOP’s and / or Reach / Counterbalance trucks.
