Salary: £26,400 per year
WR logistics are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy manufacturer on a permanent basis!
The ideal candidate would be someone that knows how to take control of the running of a warehouse and make the role their own. It will be a varied warehouse role and you will need to have previous warehouse experience.
Hours and Pay – Warehouse Operative / Stores Person
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift pattern: Monday – Friday
Hours: 0830 – 1700
Location: Berkhamsted
Pay: £26,400basic per year, company bonuses throughout the year to push salary to £27,000 OTE
Duties
- Picking and packing of goods for daily dispatch, from small boxes to large packing crates and palatized items.
- Receiving of goods, checking quantities
- Putting stock away
- Replenishing parts bins
- Maintaining stock levels and reporting shortages to the production manager ensuring that lead times will are met from overseas suppliers.
- Pressure testing of finished items
- Light assembly work
- Use of packaged software with stock inventors
- New computerised modular stores system (Carrousel)
Requirements
- Must have previous warehouse / goods in experience
- must have safety boots
