Temporary Finance Officer

Salary: £15.6 – £19.2 per hour

Location: Southend

Duration: 1-3 months

Rate: £15.6 – £19.2 per hour

A keen Temporary Finance Officer is required to join this busy finance team whilst they recruit for the permanent post. You will be supporting the Financial Controller in providing all financial information for seven schools.

Duties include:

* Collating cashflow information for budget reports.

* Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts for each school and posting invoices onto PS Financials

* Prepare BACs payment files

* Submitting VAT returns

* Ad hoc duties as required

You will be an experienced Finance Officer with excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Educated to A-Level standard and AAT accredited is desirable. A good grasp of Excel is essential for this role with the ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a small, yet busy team.

This person will be considered for the permanent role.

The successful candidate will hold or be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
