Service Technician / Engineer (Drainage)
Tesco Maintenance have rapidly become one of the leading retail maintenance service providers in the UK. Today, they support over 3000 Tesco stores and 20 head office sites, across the UK. They work with their colleagues at Tesco to make sure all their sites operate properly. Ultimately, the work they do means their customers and colleagues have a comfortable and enjoyable environment to shop and work in. They are involved at all stages of a store lifecycle. From development through to the opening of a store, they make sure maintenance requirements are considered and delivered to the highest operational and sustainable standards.
Position: Service Technician – Drainage
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Salary: £28,800 – £36,000per annum
About the Role:
The Service Technician will deliver quality and reliable service to their customers and colleagues using the operating model in order to minimise equipment breakdown and impact on business as usual. You will ensure all the relevant information is communicated in a timely manner, and pride yourself on delivering excellent customer service.
You will have a weekly completion of 100% of allocated Planned Preventative Maintenance, achieve all service level agreements for reactive tasks, and have no outstanding reactive works orders over 7 days old and the work you complete consistently receives a green rating from their manager.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working with high power jetting equipment, and working on commercial drainage and sump pumps. You will have experience of lone working or working within a confined space, and be able to undertake physical work.
You will be a good team player with a can do attitude. You will have good communication skills and be PC literate. You will also have a full UK driving license.
Ideally you will have previous plumbing experience, with a NVQ / city & guilds qualification highly desirable. You will also have a tanker license, and previous civil / building experience.
You may have experience of the following: Service Technician, Drainage, Retail, Plumbing, Building Services, Maintenance, Service Engineer, High Power Jetting Equipment, Tankers, Facilities Services, Supermarket, Plumber, Planned Preventative Maintenance etc.
