Revit Technician – Weston-Super Mare – £30k+ DOE

REVIT TECHNICIAN:
Are you a Revit Technician in Weston-Super Mare seeking an opportunity to join a talented Architect’s Practice and work closely with some of the UK’s biggest retail clients?
Are you a Revit Technician looking to develop their skills and join a team of talented Designers, Technicians & Surveyors?

THE ROLE:
• To produce detailed and accurate drawings using Revit.
• Carry out measurement surveys if and when required.
• To be client facing, liaising with clients and contractors.
• Site Visits when required
• Preparing regulatory application.
• Preparing and presenting technical design proposals using AutoCAD and traditional methods.
• Contributing to the detailed design process and co-ordinating detailed design information.
• Preparing specifications for construction work.
• Preparing drawings, plans and documents for statutory approvals.
• Contributing to design stage risk assessment.
• Contributing to meetings and document preparation.

THE CANDIDATE:
• Educated to at least HNC / HND level
• An understanding in the Planning process, as well as a good understanding of Building Regulations.
• Sound technological knowledge of building detailing and modern construction materials.
• Working knowledge of Revit is essential.
• You will need to be a team player who is happy to adapt and work to tight timescales.
•Knowledge of the retail sector would be very beneficial.
