THE CLIENT
Quality Engineer (Design approval stage)
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to join an experienced team of engineers within a growing organisation? Do you have quality engineering experience working at the design approval stage? If so we are currently seeking a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis to work closely with the Quality Manager and the team of engineers for a leading aerospace manufacturing company.
My client is a leading design and manufacturing aerospace company who offers a comprehensive range of products supporting it customer’s throughout the products lifetime. Products are designed, personalised and assembled by my client to add a high added value to each product.

• £38,400 – £43,200 per annum
THE CANDIDATE
Quality Engineer (Design approval stage)
Essential Experience
• Someone that has been involved in the New Product Introduction stage ideally within an aerospace/automotive industry
• Need to have experience with design approval or design for manufacture
• Must be skilled in Quality Management in a AS9100 or other highly regulated industries (Aerospace, Motorsport or Automotive)
• Experienced in a gate review process to industrialise a product
• The successful candidate must also have a strong engineering background and very familiar with working to engineering drawings to identify non-conformances
Desirable experience
• Good knowledge of EASA part 21 J is highly desirable
• Knowledge on EASA part 21 G is desirable
THE ROLE
Quality Engineer (Design approval stage)
• The Quality Engineer will be responsible for highlighting any quality issue at the design phase of a new product or existing product
• You will also been involved with the management of conformance and issues during New Product Introduction (NPI) right through to the support of first article inspections
• Part of a industrialisation team at the design phase to ensure a product is designed for the purpose of manufacture to quality manage any possible problems
• The candidate will be supporting processes and governance aspects (part 21) of the improvement of projects, also, gathering data and reporting quality issues for NPI and project planning
• It is not essential to have Aerospace experience but the successful candidate must have Quality Management experience at the design phase of a project
