Quality Engineer

Salary: £38,400 – £43,200 per year

Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client who are a leading manufacturer of metal products that are used in various industries across the world.. Their product is critical to the success of many companies worldwide. They have a state of the art manufacturing facilities in Leeds and are looking to expand their expert Quality team.
The Person:
* HNC qualified
* Knowledge and understanding of relevant codes and standards
* Team Player
* Experienced in a similar environment.
The Role:
* Work with all departments across machining, assembly and final paint
* Review and maintenance of welding procedures and qualifications in line with international standards and customer specifications.
* Assistance with Maintenance of the QMS with regards to ISO 9000, API accreditation and PED Approval
* Assistance when requested with the Development, Review and Control of Customer Audits, Third Party Audits, Customer and Supplier Interface, Communication and Specification and Certification and Documentation.
This role is an office based role and is working office hours. The salary is pay between £38,400 – £43,200dependent on experience.
