Our client based in Salisbury is seeking a quality and compliance engineer to join there expanding team

Duties:

* Developing quality control systems

* Working with colleagues and suppliers to improve product quality and supply performance

* Auditing internal quality systems in line with ISO 9001

* Administering management information systems

* Finding ways to increase productivity

* Decreasing waste and rejects

* Optimizing resources

* Writing action plans

* Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies

* Conducting supplier audits

* Designers and manufacturers need to know if the products they create are safe and meet relevant regulations, specifications and standards. Compliance Engineers play a key role in managing all activities leading to achieving and maintaining compliance.

* To do well in this career field, individuals must be active listeners, strong communicators, and able to use critical thinking skills for problem solving. Co-ordinating testing to ensure that governmental and industry regulations are met by manufacturers in both international and domestic markets forms a key part of this role.

* Compliance Engineers must stay current by liaising with our industry body to ensure management and colleagues are kept up-to-date on new or revised regulations that may be relevant to product specifications.

* Compliance engineers are responsible for regulatory filings and keeping records and other paperwork that may be required by regulatory bodies to demonstrate compliance. As part of their duties, compliance engineers may also supervise tasks related to client or government contracts, including monitoring their progress and making sure deadlines are met.

* Quality assurance knowledge

* Experience in an engineer manufacturing environment

* Willingness to do compliance related courses
