QC Officer – Intake / Raw Materials Inspector

Salary: £27,600 per year

Our Client is one of the UK’s largest Importers and Distributors in their sector within the Food Industry, supplying a variety of customers nationwide, including the major retailers. We now offer an excellent opportunity for a QC Officer to join the business within the Intake department.

Reporting to the Senior Quality Supervisor, the position of QC Officer will take responsibility for;

Arrange samples for third party laboratory testing

Input and update product quality status using SAP

Conduct intake, despatch, and online product quality assessments

Positive release of product when results are received and physical inspection completed

Product inspection of Raw Materials, to ensure they meet the required quality expectations

Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately conforming to quality systems / protocols

We require;

Food sector exposure

Previous experience in a Quality assessment position

An understanding of Auditing, HACCP, Specifications, and the importance of meeting the customer’s needs would be highly advantageous

The ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and have excellent attention to detail are key to this role.

Hours; Monday to Friday – 8.00am to 5.00pm
