Project Controller
Location: Dorset
Salary: Up to 40k

Exciting opportunity for a Project/Programme Controller to join a highly established company, providing systems design solutions for aerospace clients across the globe. This is a fantastic chance to get involved in working on a major aerospace/defence programme.

Job Role

The Project Controller will be responsible for the generation and progression of all project management tools required, in order to provide the management information metrics to effectively plan, monitor and control the programme.

• Business stakeholder and customer satisfaction.
• Completion of programme activity on time and within cost, to the required quality.
• Generation and delivery of all required project metrics/reports.
• Contractual compliance, client satisfaction and organisational reputation.
• Meet or exceed annual targets.
• Assist the DPM in the project management planning and execution of the programme to ensure it is delivered within budget, to schedule and meeting customer requirements.
• The use of industry best practise project management tools and processes.
• Develop and progress the programme master schedule, task scheduli9ng, linking, resource management, progressing against baselines, earned value metrics, etc.
• Assist the DPM with the development and maintenance of the programme risk register including associated risk mitigation plans.
• Assist the DPM with the exercising of financial control against allocated programme budgets, working with designated work package account managers.
• Meet all objectives and KPIs as agreed with the Deputy Programme Manager.
• Attend regular programme meetings

Experience

• Proven experience and expert knowledge of MS Project, task scheduling, linking, resource management, progressing against baselines, earned value metrics, etc.
• Proven organisational and good presentation skills is essential.
• Able to establish and maintain appropriate working relationships with staff and key stakeholders.

Desirable

• Degree qualified.
• Recognised engineering or aerospace engineering qualifications.
