About the role

Haringey Council is currently seeking a Parks Driver (Landscape) to become part of their newly formed Landscape team within the Parks service. We are in search of a dedicated and passionate individual who can bring their skills and expertise to the team. As a Parks Driver, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality grounds maintenance regimes using agricultural and non-agricultural vehicles and techniques, within our parks and public spaces. You will work where required, across all the borough’s parks and greenspaces, undertaking key works. You will promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with current regulations and safety guidelines, particularly regarding all ground’s maintenance, horticultural activities, seasonal works, and traded services. About you

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is committed to maintaining high standards of the local environment. The ideal candidate must be friendly, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have a versatile skill set to carry out a range of tasks. The role is varied and requires the ability to handle powered hand tools and drive Tractors, Ride-on machinery and a 3.5T van. The applicant will require a full clean UK driving license and experience of driving LGV vehicles. About the team

We are looking for individuals who can work effectively in small teams on a day-to-day basis. As a Parks & Greenspace frontline Parks Driver, you will undertake driving tasks using agricultural and non-agricultural motor vehicles with appropriate attachments associated with turf management, renovation, and hedge maintenance. The job involves working in all weather conditions, but our teams are dedicated to making the local environment a pleasant place to visit, no matter what.
