– Lead role in a well funded start up team delivering game changing autonomous / driverless vehicle tech. Their groundbreaking new products are being adopted globally.

You will need excellent knowledge and experience in deliver of Safety Critical Embedded Control Systems / Functional Safety

As Lead Engineer, You will lead the team in defining the system architecture to meet Functional Safety Standards..

The Embedded Control Systems will need to meet SIL 3 – safety integrity level 3 as defined by the IEC 61508 standard.

This role offers excellent opportunity to get into Autonomous Vehicle Tech, And you get to see your solutions for autonomous driving platforms in the real world – from concept to production.

Role:

Lead Team in C++ Software Engineering for Embedded Control Systems and definition of Systems Architecture, implementation, test, through to production.

Working with robotics systems and sensor integration you must be able to take technical concepts, explain to users and design system architectures and prototypes.

Development of autonomy solution integrating: Camera, RADAR, LIDAR and GPS.

Collaborative and Cross Functional role working with design engineers, software developers, product developers, sales teams and clients/ end users for requirements capture

Essential Experience & Skills

* Degree in Engineering: Electronics, Software or Computer science.

* C++ for Embedded systems

* Hardware in the Loop / MIL / SIL

* SIL 3/ IEC 61508

Advantage:

* ROS/ Robotics / sensors: eg Sensor Fusion, Object Detection, Multi-target Tracking, Localization, and Mapping

* Autonomous vehicle systems/ software in autonomous vehicles.

* Understanding autonomy principles/ automation equipment

* AI for Vision sensors / Camera, RADAR/ LIDAR

* CI/CD

* Test Strategy, Validation & Verification
