Functional Skills Tutor

Salary Band – Up to £30,000 with OTE of £26,500. The post benefits from a contributory pension scheme, access to an employee benefit programme (Reward Gateway) and an employee assistance programme, 25 day holiday entitlement and a 30p mileage rate.

This post is full time working 37.5 hours per week.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Functional Skills / Employability Tutor to join our training team. As a Functional Skills / Employability Tutor you will be responsible for ensuring that learners develop and achieve Maths, English and ICT qualifications up to Level 2 as part of their Study Programme or Traineeship.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in training and hold a teaching qualification. You will also be responsible for ensuring that learners progress to a positive destination upon leaving their Study Programme or Traineeship.
