Food Technician Teacher Needed – Herts

Prospero Teaching has an exciting opportunity to work in a fast moving Secondary School based in South Hertfordshire, who are looking for a teacher of Food Technology to cover a maternity contract. The location boasts quiet, leafy, residential streets with excellent transport links into central London. This position is due to start after at the end of September and will be appointed on a temporary, maternity cover contract.

The school wishes to appoint a talented and motivated Teacher of Food Technology for Key Stage 3 and 4. You must have strong subject knowledge and the desire to raise levels of pupil attainment by taking an exciting and innovative approach to the curriculum. The existing staff team are friendly and approachable, therefore are looking for someone of a similar character to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong character and will not be shy of working in a diverse environment and might even have SEN or EAL teaching experience. Excellent attention to classroom management will be essential.

To be eligible you must:
* Be a qualified teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
