Full job description

Engineius

Salary: £54,000 – £90,000 per year

Engineius’ goal is simple: to make vehicle movement easy. We are on our way to creating the leading end to end movement solution in the UK for our customers, delivered by our network of 300+ drivers and transport agents across the UK.
Engineius launched in April 2018. Since then, we have acquired dozens of clients, many of which can claim to be some of the biggest players in the UK automotive industry including Hertz, Royal Mail, The AA, British Gas, Jardine Motors and more. We are one of the largest competitors in this space already, but have headroom to grow much bigger. We currently move tens of thousands of vehicles each year. Our vision is to move millions.
We are looking to appoint a Finance Director as soon as possible. The opportunity should be very attractive to someone with experience in (and a passion for) scaling B2B tech-enabled businesses.
You will be top of the tree when it comes to making financially related business decisions to support the business through its growth stage. As well as running the normal day-to-day finance functions the role also encompasses broader commercial insight through the numbers, reporting to external stakeholders and support of future funding raising activities.
As a member of the Senior Team you will attend the Board and be the Financial custodian and guide for the business as it moves through breakeven and beyond. Whilst the Finance Director role is one of a strategic and analytical nature whilst the company grows the role will also require hands on with general accounts matters.
The foundations have been laid for rapid growth; we are looking for a candidate that will excel in a fast-moving environment and thrive on the big opportunity ahead.
