DV Cleared IT Support Engineer – Contract role – Newcastle

This is a highly dynamic role which will directly support the British Armed Forces. This is a key post within Deployed Service Management Team (DSMT), who provide remote Management of the Atlas DII (D) Infrastructure to Military. This position has a clearly defined career path within the DSMT with these opportunities providing both financial and personal rewards to the successful candidate.

Day to Day Responsibilities
+ 2/3 line Support to Pre-Deployment Military Operations and exercises.
+ Desktop Infrastructure & Application Support
+ Server infrastructure support to include
+ Windows server 2003
+ MS Exchange
+ MS SQL Maintenance
+ MS SharePoint administration
+ VMWare infrastructure
+ NetApps Storage systems
+ Radia software deployment.

Provide support as part of the 2nd and 3rd line remote support teams, resolving technical issues wherever possible or relaying them to the dedicated SME/resolver group as necessary
