The Company

Oakland’s Construction are a family owned civil engineering sub-contractor delivering projects up to the value £1.5m. in 2013 Oaklands have secured order book for the remaining 12 months in excess of 4.5m and have successfully achieved preferred supplier status to various clients. Our key clients include Waters, Keepmoat (Bramall & FHM) Bardsley, ALDI and Clugston and Southdale Homes. We carry out all associated groundwork’s to include drainage, large raft and strip foundations, all services, water attenuation, ground source heat recovery systems. We have a proven track record delivering fast track D&B to include education projects, extra-care/ nursing home projects and new build social housing and are on site presently at delivering new retail stores, nursing homes, schools, housing and various social housing new build projects.

The Role

We require Machine Drivers with excavator, dumper and roller tickets and proven track record working within a groundwork’D sub-contractor or company where groundwork’s are typically a key area of their activities. The role will include working on schemes to include construction of drainage, foundations, retaining walls, construction of car parks, rafts, highway works and general works up to DPC level.

The Candidate.

You must have a CSCS Card and be CPCS qualified & experienced Dumper DRIVERS with groundworks & Drainage experience. Short term contract in Barnsley
