Digital Copywriter & Content Executive

My client is a leading manufacturer of heavy materials handling equipment. An opportunity has arisen within the Digital Marketing Team for a Digital Copywriter and Content Executive, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager.

This position is responsible for adapting and creating marketing collateral including website copy and promotional copy across digital platforms for my client’s 3 brands, pan EMEA. This position is also responsible for executing a social media strategy across EMEA.

Key accountabilities will include:
• Collaborating with the Brand Marketing team, and Product and Industry Solutions Group to adapt and create engaging digital content that supports my client’s strategic goals.
• Ensuring a consistent brand representation across digital platforms, supporting
branded websites that are professional and industry leading.
• Writing, sub-editing and summarising copy for the brand websites, ensuring web SEO content is well written, relevant, compliant and reflective of brand tone.
• Creating and executing a social media content strategy across relevant social channels.
• Engaging with audiences on key online communities and social media channels. Using targeted content to drive digital user engagement and brand loyalty.
• Deploying digital content across external brand websites via content management systems. Maintaining a digital content calendar to ensure regular content flow for my client’s digital platforms.
• Providing updates for my client on developments and enhancements in the social media arena, suggesting best practice methods for future use.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• Proven experience of creating engaging online content and managing social media channels on behalf of an employer.
• A passion for digital marketing with a willingness to get stuck in
• Degree level education, ideally in a Marketing or Communications related discipline.
• Effective web development skills, including HTML programming and graphic development, and experience in using content management systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, knowledge of another European language would be desirable.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in the pursuit of results.
• Effective IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Other information
• This role is paying a salary of £42,000
• Full benefits of Pension (including Life Insurance) and Health are offered as well as 25 days’ holiday
