Desktop Support Engineer

An IT Support / Desktop Engineer is required for a 3-6 month contract based in Southampton, Hampshire.

Working for a well-established Public Sector organisation, you will be providing general PC and Desktop Support (Hardware/Software) to users in the South Hampshire area.

Day to day responsibilities will include diagnosing PC problems, building desktops/laptops and providing basic Networking and enterprise Wi-Fi assistance and support. You will also be involved in creating user accounts, migrating users and computers across Domains, assigning Group Policies. For this role you need to have previous experience within an 2nd Line Support / Desktop Support / PC Support Engineer with technical skills including MS Office, Active Directory (AD).
This role is to start ASAP and will pay between £16.8 – £21 per hour (ltd/umbrella) per hour depending on experience.
