£26,000 per year
Gender: Female (Genuine Occupational Qualification as defined by Section 7 (2) (e) of the Sex Discrimination Act)
Ashberry are looking to recruit a Domestic Violence for a domestic violence service based in West Yorkshire.
• You will be responsible for supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse within their own homes OR within a refuge setting.
• Setting up and reviewing support plans in line with Supporting People QAF.
• Provide advice, advocacy and liaison with all relevant parties involved with service users, ensuring supervision and monitoring of their health and well-being is carried out.
• Offering emotional support and relevant advice to service users, to empower them in making their own decisions and taking control of their lives.
• Assisting service users in developing social skills/ behaviour management to gain confidence in achieving and defining their goals.
• To help service users establish social contacts and activities in their local community.
Essential Requirements:

Valid UK driving license and own car desirable
Current enhanced CRB/ DBS
Experience of supporting victims of Domestic Violence
