Job Description:

Daniel Owen Ltd is a recruitment company that specialises in placing people within the construction, engineering, rail and maintenance industries.
We are currently looking for carpenter/plumber multi- traders to carry out high quality responsive and cyclical maintenance work as required, to the Group’s housing stock and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

*Ensure that repairs and maintenance across the Group’s housing stock are undertaken as efficiently as possible whilst delivering excellent customer service to our residents.
*Liaise with specialist trades and sub-contractors where required and ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge, with training where appropriate, of standards applicable to individual trade.
*Participate in the Company’s out-of-hours emergency call out service and evening/weekend appointments, when required.
*Use a PDA to record accurate accept/start/finish times and works completed for all jobs and collect customer feedback.
*Adhere to the Associations agreed procedure with regard to supplies and equipment
*Be required to operate specifically within the Group’s Standards and will receive advice and training as appropriate
*Maintain a professional and cordial relationship with home managers and residents and any other external customers whose homes or premises are visited.

Essential:
*Knowledge of plumbing/carpentry or a time served apprenticeship
*Experience in various day to day property maintenance
*Experience of working unsupervised

Desirable:
*Formal qualification in carpentry/plumbing
