Role: Depot Manager – Branch Manager
Salary £42,000 – £48,000 + Car + bonus + bens

The Role:
* To be responsible for all operational aspects of a busy logistics depot providing environmental services to a mix of commercial clients
* To have full accountability for the P&L, to review and achieve operational cost savings and efficiencies.
* To lead, manage and motivate a team including drivers.
* To ensure our business is run within a ‘zero harm’ safety culture.
* To contribute to the growth of our business, working closely with our sales function developing and maintaining quality relations with customers and prospects to ensure the company’s image, reputation and achievements are represented to maximum effect.
* To provide excellent customer service and service delivery through the branch.
The Successful Candidate:
* The ideal candidate will be an excellent people manager with a pragmatic hands on style.
* Ideally the candidate will come from the service sector with fleet experience: waste management experience would be advantageous
* You will be able to demonstrate your ability to motivate and get the best from your staff as well as being able to demonstrate your ability to evaluate financial information and be comfortable managing your team and depot using KPIs.
* Ideally you will hold a CPC and at least an IOSH qualification.
* It would be advantageous to have experience of a sales environment or working closely with a sales team.
* Exceptional communication is a prerequisite as you will be liaising at all levels and representing the company to maximize and develop relations with existing clients and prospective clients.
