Vacancy – Branch Assistant

Location – Blandford Forum, Dorset

Salary – negotiable depending on skills and experience

Hours – Monday to Friday only – 7am or 7.30am start

Do you have customer facing sales experience in a business to business environment.

Maybe you have worked for a plumbers merchant, a tile showroom, a builders merchant or a tool hire business.

Branch Assistant required for a successful business in Dorset.

The role will include the following:
Trade counter sales and taking telephone orders.
Preparing quotations.
Stock control
Pricing stock accurately, storing, and labelling goods in the warehouse.
Preparing orders for delivery
Providing excellent customer service at all times.

Occasional ad hoc deliveries – so a full driving licence would be required.

The person:
Enthusiastic, good communicator, honest with good common sense.

Computer literate and able to learn

Flexible attitude and able to work in a small team

Physically fit as there may be some heavy lifting required.

Salary depending on experience plus bonus.
