Minimum wage in accordance with National Living and National Minimum wage rates

To ensure that customers are served quickly, efficiently and in a pleasant professional manner.

To ensure daily and weekly checklists are completed and signed, and the bar area is clean and well maintained.

To ensure all legislation is adhered to, maintain an orderly bar and be familiar with evacuation and fire safety procedures.

Be familiar with the product range of both food and drinks in the hotel as well as the policies and procedures of the bars.

Be familiar with the Hotel’s other offerings of Accommodation, Weddings and Private Dining.

To promote the Old Inn and the products/services the hotel offers.

To assist the Bar Manager with control procedures such as stocktaking, issuing floats, cash control and maintaining the EPOS system effectively.

To deal with and record customer complaints and enquiries.

To ensure security of stock, cash and all other item located in the bar areas.

To carry out any other duties as required by management, including fulfilling the role of Food Serving Assistant

This is a flexible role. You will be given the opportunity to work in other parts of the hotel as part of your development and learning.
