Azure Solutions Architect

Salary: £600 per day

This is a senior engineering and delivery role within a rapidly growing Digital Modernisation practice in EMEA.

You will typically lead the technical design of a customer Cloud solutions, taking ownership for major deliverables. Your focus will also be on extending internal capability, owning and defining reusable patterns across a number of customers’ projects and the delivery of the major workstreams in projects.

You will ideally come from a development background and have strong.Net experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver client solutions including application migration/modernization and cloud-native architectures
• Undertake technical reviews, ensuring your clients have the best technical solutions for their business requirements
• Participate in pre-sales, proof of concepts, and bid management
• Leading project teams to design, develop and implement solutions using enterprise Microsoft Azure and other technologies
• Help build capability within the Digital Modernisation practice, contributing to or leading development of delivery blueprints

Professional Experience:

• Has current Azure experience (Azure is their primary if they have other public cloud exp)
• Solid (real project experience) of PaaS and key Azure components
• SQL, COSMOS, Event Hub, Kubernetes/Containers, Pipelines, Application Services etc
• Large scale, high throughput, back end systems development and systems integration desirable
• Strong background in managing NFRs e.g. security, performance, supportability, high availability
• Experience with.Net and Microsoft development stack
• Track record of success in a consultancy leading deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of cloud solutions; prior solution delivery experience in application migrations
• Proven track record of building relationships with client stakeholders. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.
• Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects
