Automation & Controls Engineer
Our client is an ambitious expanding manufacturer of bespoke machinery used within the food processing and packaging sector
We currently have a superb opportunity for an experienced Automation/Controls Engineer to join the team and provide technical support on specialist projects.
Key responsibilities;
• Support electrical and automation projects
• Work closely with Mechanical Design team
• Produce automation and process control feasibility studies
• Produce front end design, specifications and engineering documentation for PLC/HMI/SCADA systems
• Support project teams on installation/commissioning projects
• Co-ordinate projects in terms of time/cost and manage contract resources
Key Requirements;
• Qualified Electrical/Controls Engineer (HNC/HND/Degree)
• PLC programming and configuration (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
• Working knowledge of servo drives, motion control systems, process control, data communications systems deployed on food processing /packaging lines
• Working knowledge of WinCC and line reporting systems
• Strong organisational skills
• Willingness to travel to site including overseas
In return a negotiable package £42,000 – £48,000 is provided with use of company vehicle.
