Associate Landscape Architect

Salary: £45,600 – £57,600 per year

Lead Careers are working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy who are looking to recruit a Senior Associate Landscape Architect to lead their Bristol based team. This is a key role within a growing consultancy with future career opportunities to potentially progress to Director Level.

They are looking for someone with demonstrable leadership skills who can manage their own team and be a member of the Practice’s Senior Management Team.

You must have extensive experience, with strong design and management skills, having worked on various scales of development from large master planning projects through to small scale garden design. Experience in LVIA is preferred as is the ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.

Role responsibilities

•Providing strategic landscape planning and design advice

•Writing LVIA reports

•Prepare expression of interest and fee bids

•Developing relationships with existing and new clients

•Delegating to and motivating technical support staff

•Assist in the professional development of other staff members

Experience required

•Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI), with at least 10 years’ post qualification experience

•Excellent attention to detail and written communication/report writing skills

•A good understanding of the UK planning system

•Strong project management experience

•Strong commercial background

•Good team player who is confident and self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively and to tight deadlines

•A full clean driving licence
