Salary: £26,000 per year

We have a great opportunity at our Builth Wells site in Wales for an Assistant Branch Manager

This friendly site provides local businesses with their all building product needs, they adopt a ‘customer first approach’ and are seen as a trusted partner.

If you are ambitious and enjoy a busy role that includes generating new business and sales, providing first class customer service, assisting the Branch Manager in supervising a team and playing a large part in improving overall site activity, this Assistant Branch Manager role could be a great opportunity for you.

Key day to day duties include:

You will play a proactive part in creating new business and sales. You will engage with existing and new customers to promote Jewson products with the aim of achieving sales growth and repeat orders by demonstrating a best in class service and customer care.

You will take a proactive lead in exploring new customer opportunities across the region by identifying new projects, making approaches to builders, sub-contractors and developers.

You will handle customer enquiries and queries around pricing, ordering and deliveries
Assisting the branch manager with the Supervision of a team colleagues – at all times acting as a champion of health and safety.What skills are we looking for?

Strong administration and organizational ability to ensure daily operations are carried out safely and efficiently
The drive and ambition to want to progress further within the branch management structureIf you have a background in a customer facing fast paced busy sales environment where you are responsible for generating new business, then this role could just be for you.
