Knowledge of OSX 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, and Adobe Creative Suite, Knowledge of Windows 7, basic knowledge on Windows 2008 R2, and Active Directory.Basic hardware troubleshooting, understanding of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, LDAP, DHCP and VPN. Cinema 4D desirable but not essential.

My client, an award winning ad agency with a client list full of brand leaders is looking for a Mac/PC 1st and 2nd line IT Support Analyst to join their IT team.

You will be providing 1st / 2nd line Apple Mac/Windows IT support including:

-Setting up new users. Phone, computer, and AD accounts.
-Managing and maintaining AD accounts, groups and objects for London.
-iPhone support
-Managing and maintaining phone system / setups. Hosted (Cloud-based) PBX.
-Managing and maintaining printers / consumables.
-Managing and maintaining all AV equipment. Ensuring meeting rooms are fully functional, and computers in all boardrooms all have the latest and necessary applications
-FTP account setups.
-Managing / maintaining client machine backups.
-Providing support to Video and Web conferencing.
-Keeping the hardware inventory list up to date.

Key skills required are: Knowledge of OSX 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, and Adobe Creative Suite, Knowledge of Windows 7, basic knowledge on Windows 2008 R2, and Active Directory.Basic hardware troubleshooting, understanding of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, LDAP, DHCP and VPN. Joining a team of two others you will be supporting a predominantly Mac creative environment of circa 100-150 users. The Mac/PC split is 80:20. As the most junior member of the team, it is a very hands-on role. You will be building relationships with users including setting up new starters, IT inductions, supporting users, setting up meeting rooms, AV suites, Skype, conference calls, agency pitches,setting up for presentations. It is mainly face-to-face deskside Mac focused IT support. You will be undertaking basic Active Directory account set ups and Exchange mail box set ups also. A busy role, you will need a good manner with demanding creative users working to strict deadlines within an open plan, flat structure, media environment. You must be open, approachable and a brilliant communicator – no techies who only speak techy speak required here!

Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience within an advertising agency or marketing company, but not essential if you have good communication skills and can work well in a fast moving media environment.
