Salary: £26,400 – £30,000 per year
We are currently looking for an Inorganic and Wet Chemistry Analyst to join a leading Pharmaceutical testing company based in the Middlesex area of London. As an Analytical Chemist you will analyse a range of pharmaceutical products using various inorganic and wet chemistry methods.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Inorganic and Wet Chemistry Analyst you will be responsible for the following:
1. This role will focus on using Wet Chemistry and Inorganic analytical techniques to analyse a range of Pharmaceutical products. Techniques will include Karl Fisher Titration, UV, Gravimetry, ICP, AAS.
2. Ensure that tests are performed to the relevant quality standards and within the timeframe agreed with the client. As a contract testing laboratory analytical projects will be based on fast turnaround times.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
In order to be successful in your application as the Inorganic and Wet Chemistry Analyst you will be responsible for the following:
1. You will be at least degree qualified in Chemistry or a related Scientific discipline e.g. Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Inorganic Chemistry.
2. It is essential that you have previous experience working in a Pharmaceutical Analytical or QC Laboratory using Wet Chemistry and Inorganic analytical techniques including Karl Fisher, Titrimetry, Gravimetry and Colorimetry, ICP, AAS.
3. In addition you will have a working knowledge of UKAS and GMP regulations.
