Accounts Senior

Solutions Recruitment are working with a well established accountancy practice with offices in Hexham, in their search for an experienced Accounts Senior.

This is a leading, growing practice which is dedicated to developing and progressing their staff. They have also been carefully reviewing local salaries recently and are able to offer a package to rival the most prominent Newcastle based practices, something which is likely to be highly appealing to anyone currently working in Hexham but feel they are not being paid what they are worth.

The role will involve duties typical of an Accounts Senior within Practice, including, but not limited to:

• Preparation of Accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Associated Tax computations
• Direct Client contact to contribute to the maintenance of excellent client relationships

The successful applicant will bring significant experience within an Accountancy Practice, due to the senior responsibilities of the role, candidates without this experience cannot be considered so need not apply.

Strong communication skills are essential due to the client contact involved in the role and experience of Sage and Xero software would be a significant advantage.

Candidates should be AAT qualified as a minimum or ACA/ACCA part qualified.
