Salary: £27,600 – £30,000 per year
This well-established reputable organisation are looking for a part time Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a newly created role within the business and will be mostly office based.
Accounts Assistant- Part time – About The Role
In this role you will be supporting the Finance Manager with the day to day running of the accounts function as well as assisting within other departments. This role will performed over 3 full days and will suit someone who is qualified by experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Obtain approval, code and post supplier invoices onto the accounting system.
* Generate sales invoices from the client management system and post to the accounting system.
* Prepare BACS runs for approval and processing staff expenses.
* Posting bank receipts and payments to the accounting system.
* Multi-currency bank reconciliations.
* Monitoring daily communications as well as further ad-hoc duties.
The successful Accounts Assistant- Part time will have
* Previous experience in a similar position.
* Experience with multiple currencies would be advantageous.
* Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
