2nd in Charge in Toddlers Nursery Room

Our client requires a strong candidate to join their team as a 2nd in Charge to work in their friendly nursery setting in the Godalming area

This candidate ideally needs to be forward thinking, have full knowledge of the EYFS and the current changes.

An ambitious, inspirational and creative Early Years Practitioner is required who want to be challenged and who wants to be a part of the Nursery’s success story to help it grow and develop this setting.

The nursery looks after children aged between 3 months and 5 years. This vacancy is for 40 hours per week and will be working in their Toddler room.

To be able to you must have:

· A NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
· A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be able to use this to plan activities for children
· Awareness of planning, observing and record keeping for young children and the ability to link these to the individual child’s needs.
· Experience of leading a team

Successful candidates must be fully qualified to NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent, have exceptional in-depth knowledge of Birth to Three matters and the Foundation Stage curriculum and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills as you will be responsible for the staff team, the planning, the observations and the smooth running of the rooms.
