Your new company
You’ll be working within a lovely Academy School, in the outskirts of Rugby. This school like to support their children to develop curiosity and respect for themselves and like to prepare their pupils with skills and resilience to thrive.

This role is a full-time role Monday to Friday 8.30-3.30. This school is easily accessible via Rugby, Southam and Leamington.

Your new role
You’ll be working within a KS1 class whilst supporting a child on a 1-1 basis who is currently in the process of obtaining an EHCP. You will be supporting the child in Year 1 with their learning and day to day activities. This child potentially has ADHD, therefore you must ensure the learning space is stimulating and engaging. You must be familiar in child led learning and be prepared to adapt your day to suit the needs of the child. You will need to be empathetic, nurturing and have a passion for understanding and listening to the needs of the children. You must be able to work to your own initiative.

What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role

• You must have at least 40 days school-based experience as a minimum requirement, whether this be voluntary or paid.
• You must be able to work well within a team as you will need to communicate effectively throughout your day with various colleagues.
• You must be a positive, flexible and passionate and be committed to helping the children succeed.
• You may be expected to feedback the individual child’s progress to the teacher to assist with learning out comes and future planning, so you must be confident in tracking the children’s progress and working towards targets.
