Assistant Digital Commercial Finance Analyst

Your tasks and responsibilities

As Assistant Commercial Finance Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:

• Weekly reporting preparation and commentary. Evaluate key trends, KPI’s and variances. Provide supporting analysis where necessary to ensure risks and opportunities are correctly managed. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting is maintained.
• Business partnering with Marketing and Product teams to deliver insight on campaigns, promotions and initiatives. Support the business through fact based decision making.
• Support Head of Digital Commercial Finance across various tasks including Budget phasing, Month End ‘deep dive’ investigations Into key emerging or unexplained trends and group reporting when necessary.
• Collaboration with Retail Commercial Finance team members across various tasks, projects, and initiatives to support Omni channel growth.
• Identifying gaps with existing reporting and building new reports where necessary to ensure that as the business environment changes, reporting adapts to meet the new needs of the business.

Your knowledge and experience

• Experience as a Finance Analyst or a similar role.
• Experience with using MS Excel with the ability to be able to manipulate complex, raw data.
• Highly numerate – evidence of working with numbers and providing analysis.
• Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Experience with SQL and PowerBI would be preferential, but not essential.
